Se Aculilló? is an ongoing series of performance events and art exhibitions co-curated by Benjamin Lundberg Torres Sánchez and Kat Chavez.
The phrase, se aculilló?, is a Colombian taunt that roughly
translates to “Are you scared?” More literally, Se aculilló? refers
to the body (specifically the asshole) curling inward in response to fear.
Each installment of the series features artists thinking about the themes of the body and fear in addition to each show’s title (used as a shifting guiding principle.)
