Performance. (2013)

An exploration of eroticism and desire.

I explore the chair through touch, finding poses that slip between domination and submission, while speaking commands to any and all who may be watching. I invite the viewer to open and shut their eyes to the beat of these commands, interrupting their voyeurism long enough to let desires bubble up while minds wander the dark. Through submitting to this practice of obstructed witness, a physical score emerges, co-created by viewer and viewed, that is both a sensual undertaking, and an act of surveillance.
