The more I hold you[Five-minute time lapse] The more I hold you Performed 7 February 2015 I give the ice warmth from my hands. It changes, and disappears — leaving my hands wet, shriveled, and full of memory. Shot over the course of 2 hours, this rapid remembrance offers physical sensations that are fleeting and yet connected to life-long relationships: to cold, to holding on, to ecosystems, to loss, to desire. In this work, I am thinking about the mutual impact of relationships, both at the scale of human-to-human interaction, and between the world and ourselves.
